Alte Mordgrube Mine ‒ Coe

The coe is located south of the mine forge, immediately next to a track and above a shaft that connects with the motive water leat. Coming from the Neuglück mine and the Drei Eichen mine the leat supplied motive water for the water powered engines of the Alte Mordgrube mine. According to its function the coe was called water pump house. Originating from 19th century it reflects a typical shape, however, merely a few coes of such kind have preserved until present.
