Located in the Bobritzschtal on the right-hand slope of the valley, roughly in the middle of the motive water supply system, Lichtloch V (air shaft) featured a hoisting house adjacent to a forge and a powder house. The heap at Lichtloch V is largely overgrown, and stretches from the Bobritzschtal valley to the foundations of the hoisting house. The foundations of the hoisting house, in the form of a shaft superstructure, are the last remaining signs of the buildings at the surface. The air shaft is identified by a large stone marking the site. The standing stone used for mining surveys has also survived. The shaft was partially backfilled in in 1911, and later completely backfilled.
